Aside from my husband, Quincy is the best thing that ever happened to me. He is an amazing personal trainer, motivator, and general life guru. He helped me lose 25 pounds before my wedding and keep the weight off for 3 years and counting. He held me accountable, but never made me feel bad about my choices. He taught me that fitness is a lifelong journey, and for every time I got off-track, he was there to push me to get back to my best possible self. Our workouts always varied, but often we’d revisit old exercises weeks later to track progress- being able to accomplish exercises I previously couldn’t was an amazing way to chart improvements without obsessing over pounds. He quickly took away the intimidation of gyms and all of the equipment so I could feel comfortable with weights, machines, battle ropes, kettle bells, Bosu balls and just using my own body weight for exercises. Best of all, Quincy taught me the discipline to stay healthy on my own. When I started exploring boutique fitness classes around LA, I was constantly complimented on my form and my ability to pick new skills up quickly, all thanks to the framework I built under Quincy’s tutelage. Quincy’s positive attitude is infectious and our sessions were the highlight of my week. He is personable, knowledgable, and always attune to the needs of his clients. It was always clear that his approach was custom tailored to me and my body. I can’t share enough positive words about Quincy Burgers. As a trainer, Quincy’s style is like that of the perfect coach. He pushes his clients to their max, but also knows when to back down and be flexible - the whole time with an extremely motivational and positive attitude.
